
Our Vision

We are and we wish to remain a family winery. We wish to work together, to share the concerns, and enjoy the results. To maintain tradition and expand knowledge. To live in harmony with nature, nurture the land with love, in a sustainable way, and produce unique wines. To spread the reputation of Yellow Ribolla and Ribolla Nera, and with all our wines we grow in the global market.

Historical milestones

- 1725 Martin Erzetič sets the foundations for the mixed farm 'Pri Martinovih' in Višnjevik - 1980 our first bottled wine
- 1994 focus shifts exclusively on viticulture and winemaking
- 1997 barrique wines first bottled in Amfora bottles
- 2007 a new wine cellar
- 2007 the first year of wine is stored in amphorae
- 2012 the first 8000 vines of Ribolla Nera are planted
- 2012 transfer to ecologic viticulture
- 2017 we have filled the first bottles of ecologically produced wine.

Care for the environment

Care for the Earth begins with care for the soil. We must keep it healthy and alive, which is why we have given up all violent interventions that are based on chemical preparations for controlling pests, diseases, and unwanted weeds. Our winery is directed into ecologic production: with natural products we wish to strengthen the immunity of the grapevine, and with lush but tended undergrowth we keep the diversity of life in the soil. This is the only way we will proudly let our offspring take care of the land, and enable them to nurture it for future generations.
